2024 - 2025

Inaguration Ceremony was conducted by Tami Literary Association in the title of “Kaattru Veilel Kannadasan” on 29.07.2024. Dr.R.Viswanathan Associate Professor of Tamil Department, Erode Chikkaiya Nayakar College, was invited as the chief guest and he gave special speech about Kannadasan literary career and film career nearly 145 students were participated and gained knowledge through  this event.  

2023 - 2024

In Tamil Department, Inaugural Function & Special seminar was held on 25.07.2023 which was Organized  by Tamil Language Club. Mr.I.Kalaikovan, Tamil Teacher, Sengundhar Higher Secondary School  was the special invitee,  he gave a special speech on topic of "Aram Sei".

2018 - 2019

Department of Tamil Conducted FolkLore Cutural festival entitled Manvaasam 2019 on 01-02-2019,  167 students from 20 colleges actively took part in the program.

Department of Tamil Organized  a valediction program for certificate course on 26-12-2018. Dr.ArasuParameshwaran,Asst.Prof of Tamil,Arignar Anna Arts College,Namakkal was invited as the chief guest. 72 students from our college received their certificates.

On behalf of Tamil Department a one day seminar was organized on 19-09-2018 Dr.R.Yuvaraj,Asst.Prof  of Tamil, Vivehanada College of Arts and Science, Trichengode was the Chief Guest of the program.

As a part of Certificate course 72 Students from our college went on     Archeological visit to Kodumanal  & Vijayamangalam on 19-06-2018.

2017 - 2018

On account of Pongal celebration Tamil Ilakkia Mandram conducted various competitions Quiz, oratorical, poem recitation and folk dance prized were given those who are secure in the competitions.

Tamil Ilakkia Mandram conducted “Naatupuraviyal Ennum Panbaatu Kalvi” on 05.01.2018 Mr.Isakki, Asst.prof  of Tamil,   JKKN Arts and Science, Kumarapalayam was the Chief Guest of the occasion. 250 students participated and they got about   Folk Culture and its feature through this program.

Tamil Ilakkia Mandram organised “Naveena Kavidhai Puridhalai Nokki” on 12.08.2017 Poet  Mr. Issai the Chief Guest of     the occasion. 320 students participated

2016 - 2017

Tamil Ilakkia Mandram conducted “siridhu Velicham” on 15.07.2016 Mr.K.Pugazhendhi Asst Prof of tamil, Bharathiar   University college of Arts and Science, Sivagiri was the Chief Guest. 160 students had participated and they gained the   ethics of life through this programme.

2015 - 2016

Tamil Ilakkia Mandram conducted “Tharkala Ilakiyangal” on 31.07.2015 Ms.N.Chandra Asst prof of tamil, PKR Arts     college for women Gobi was the Chief Guest. 170 students participated and they came to know the features of Tamil   Literature.

2014 - 2015

It conducted “Inimai Tamil Mozhi Emadhu” on 16.09.2014 Mr.Natramilnathan the great poet of Tamil was acted as the chief guest. 150 students participated in this function.

2013 - 2014

Tamil Ilakkia Mandram conducted “ kaalandhorum Tamil” on 18.02.2014 Dr.R.Vishwanathan, Asst Prof of Tamil, CNC College Erode was the Cheief Guest. 140 students participated and they come to know the value of Tamil.
