2023- 2024

 Citizen Consumer Club and Department of Business Administration have jointly organised special talk on “Customer Empowerment” program on 04/09/2023 at Bharathiar Arangam. Welcome address gathered by Dr. P.A. Venkatachalapathy, Co-ordinator of Consumer Club and HOD of Management Department. Principal address delivered by the. Principal Dr. S. Kamesh. Mr. R. Balasubramanian, Secretary, Erode District Consumer Protection Centre was the chief guest cum Resource Person. The Resource person enlightened the Consumer must choose the product according to his/her taste and preference, must file a complaint if the quality of the product is not satisfactory and must be aware of his/her rights and exercise them when required. Special invitees of Dr. Raaja, Joint secretary, Erode District Consumer Protection Centre, P.M. Venkatachalapathy, Secretary, Erode district farmers discussion club, Erode, and P. Jeevantham, Joint secretary of Consumer Club, Kavindapadi have participated. The program ends with vote of thanks and given by Ms. R.Archana, Assistant Professor. More than 100 students have participated and benefited .Ms .P.M.Deepa, Dr. T. Rajeswari, Ms R. Archana, Assistant Professor and students of consumer club have organised a program in well manner.

The Department of Business Administration has organised Association inauguration and Personality development program on 01/09/2023 at Bharathiar Arangam.  Welcome address gathered by Dr. P.A. Venkatachalapathy, HOD of Management Department. Principal Dr. S. Kamesh.  delivered the Principal address. Dr. K. Rajendran, Assistant Professor of Management, Gobi Arts & Science College, Gobichettipalayam was the chief guest cum Resource Person. The Resource person enlightened the Personality factors and how students should improve attitude and positive mind set.  Student should avoid ego and negative feelings.  The objective of the program is students should improve optimistic character.  The program ends with vote of thanks and given by Ms. R. Archana, Assistant Professor. More than 100 students have participated and benefited Ms .P.M.Deepa, Dr. T. Rajeswari, Ms R. Archana, Assistant Professor have organised a program in well manner.

 

2021- 2022

The Department of Business Administration of Bharathidasan College of Arts and Science, Erode organized a special programme on “Phoenix People” on 28.12.2021.       Thiru . P. Naveenkumar M.E. Founder and President Achayam Trust, Erode was the Chief Guest. The guest spoke about the current situation of beggars and does not pay cash to beggars and do not encourage beggar life. 

The Department of Business Administration of Bharathidasan College of Arts and Science, Erode organized an Association Inauguration “BIZ 2K21” on 6.12.2021. Dr. P. Alagesan, Senior Scientist and Head, Krishi Vigyan Kendra Indian Council of Agricultural Research.  He spoke about the importance of Business Administration course and functions of Management Association. 

The Department of Business Administration of Bharathidasan college of Arts and Science, Erode organized a one day seminar on “Suzhal Arivom” on 02.12.2021. Thiru. V.P. Gunasekaran, President, Erode District Tribal welfare Asssociation and Thiru V. Deepak Nature enthusiast were the Chief Guests. 

  

 

The Department of Business Administration of Bharathidasan College of Arts and Science, Erode organized a One day Guest Lecture Programme on 9.11.2021 on“ We can, We must, We will”  Mrs Vidhyadevi  Psychologist and Motivational Speaker was the resource person. She pointed out human needs such as safety, esteem and self actualization. 

The Department has Signed MOU with CII- Erode Young India Chapter on 27/10/21 at Principal Champer. The Purpose of the MOU is students directly interact with industrialist and getting industry practical experience. Principal Dr.R.Shunmughan, Mrs. Gomathi Srikalyan and Thiru.Thiagarajan Thirunavukarasu  Erode Yuva Chair were the Represenatative  of CII.

2019 - 2020

 

Department organized a two days Industrial Visit at Kerala from 14.09.2019 to 15.09.2019.

The department has celebrated Teachers Day Program on 05.09.2019 at CSI Elementary School, Ellispettai. On part of the celebration various saplings issued to the Teachers and Students. 

Our Department organized a State level Conference on  “Environment and Natural Agriculture Protection” on 28.08.2019. The resource persons were  i) . K.Kalidasan, President, Osai Environment Protection centre, Coimbatore.
ii).S.R.Sudararaman, Treasurer, Tamilnadu Farmer Technical Corporation.
iii). P.Saravanan, Program Organizer, All India Radio Station, Coimbatore.
 

Our Department organized a One Day Special Lecture Programme on “Employability Skills” on 14.08.2019. The resource person was  Dr.P.Nallasivam, Professor cum Director, Department of Management Studies, Sengunthar Institute of Management Studies, Thiruchengode.

Our Department organized  One Day Guest Lecture Programme on “ Career guidance and Personality Development” 02.08.19. Dr. S. Deepansa, B.V.Sc & A.H Senior Manager, IOB, KC Branch, Perundurai was the resource person.

Our Department organized an International Symposium on 25.07.19. Dr. Nandhu Radhakrishnan, Associate Professor  and Director of Department of Speech and Hearing Sciences, Lamar Universtiy, Texas, USA and Dr. N.Muruganandam, Associate Professor, Department of  MBA, Bharathiar University PG extension Centre, Erode were the Resource Persons.
  
       

 

The Department students have visited  “CRAFT BAZAAR-2019” at Texvalley, Chittode on 08.07.19.

The Department has organized a special lecture programme on “Budget 2k19 - Pros and Cons” on 19.07.19. Dr. Mani, Associate Professor and Head, Department of Economics, Erode Arts and Science College(Autonomous) ,Erode was the Resource person.
 

       

Department Association Inauguration was held on 03.07.19. Dr. M. Viswanathan, Head, Department of BBA (CA), Kongu Arts and Science College, Erode was the Chief Guest.

.“ Save Water” Awareness rally and campaign was organized by our Department on 26.06.19 at Kavindapadi. Mrs K. Nirmaladevi, Inspector of Police, Kavindapadi was the Chief guest. More than 20 farmers and 150 students Participated.

The Department has celebrated World environmental day on June 05th .Tree Plantation programme organized on that day at Kanchikoil LBP office.

2018 - 2019

Department organised a one day Workshop on “Personalilty Development ” on 19th Feb 2019. Mr. P. Diyaneshwaran, Technincal Director cum motivational Trainner, A to Z computech, Chennimalai was the Resource Person.

Department conducted a one day Guest lecture on “How is and Where is India” on 01st Feb 2019 . Mr.K.R.I. Ganeshamurthy, Former Professor, Department of Management Studies, Velallar College of Engineering and Technology, Erode.

 

Department  conducted a one day Guest lecture on “Personalilty Development Programme” on 24.09.2018 .Mr. D. Dhiyaneswaran , Trainer,  A to Z Computer, Chennimalai was the Resource Person.

 

Department students   donated Rupees 8000/- worth books, tables and chairs to Government public library at Ayyampalayam on 24.09.2018.

 

 College Bazaar was organised by our department on 12th September 2018 at Vivekananda Auditorium. Rs.25,000 / - worth of products were sold.

 

Department conducted a one day Guest lecture on “Agri –start-ups through Kurien Agri Business Model” on 05th September 2018. Mr.C.Balamurugan, CEO, Surya Solar was the Resource Person.

 

Department organized a two days Industrial Visit to Kodaikanal from 1.9.2018 to 2.9.2018.

Department  organised a one day Guest lecture programme on “Personalilty Development ” on 13.08.2018 .Dr.. K.Shanmugasundaram, Managing Director, Phoniex Academy, Erode  was the Resource Person.

Department Students visited “Erode Book fair -2018” on 10st August 2018 at Erode.

Department organized an Industrial Visit on 1st August 2018 to Texvalley, Erode.

 

Department conducted a Fresher day programme on 31st June 2018.

 

2017 - 2018

MoU Signed
The Department of Business Administration and Erode District Small Industries Association (EDISSIA) signed the MoU.  Mr. K. Venkates President, EDISSIA, Erode, On 17th August 2017, has participated.

Industrial Visit
The Students of Business Administration have visited the Industrial Visit   on 15th July 2017 and went to LOOLU MALL, Asia’s biggest shopping mall at Cochin. Students have visited all show-room and know about the brand value of various companies.

Guest Lecture Programme

• Our department has organised a Consumer Awareness Programme on 4th January 2018. Mr. Balasubramanian R, Secretary, Erode District Consumer Protection Council was the Resource Person. He elaborately discussed about the consumer rights and duties.
• The Department organized a guest lecture Programme on "Students Role in Environmental Conservation” on 12th December 2017. Mr. K.Kalidhasan, President, Oosai Foundation, Coimbatore, was the Resource Person
• Our department has organised a one day guest lecture Programme on “Personality Development” on 21st September 2017. Mr. L. Narayanan, Proprietor, MR Colour Labs & Studios, Erode. Was the Resource Person.   Students learned about the Soft Skills and Time Management.
• Our Department organized a Management Association Inaugural and Special lecture on 16th August 2017. Dr.S.Deepansa B.V.Sc & A.H, Senior Manager, Indian Overseas Bank, Kavindapadi branch  was the Chief Guest. The objective of the programme is students should equip the banking practical knowledge.

Seminar, Conference & Workshop

Our Department has organised a One day State level Conference on “Water Management and Tree Protection” on 22nd February 2018. This programme was inaugurated by Thiru N.K.K.Periasamy, Chairman and Correspondent . Dr. R.K. Bharathi, I.F.S. Chief Conservative Officer (Retd), Tamilnadu, Dr S.Sathyasundari, President ,Bhavani River Protection Council  and S. Sampath, Vellore District were the resource persons of the Programme. More than 100 farmers have participated and gained knowledge about water utilisation and tree plantation.

ur Department has organised a One day State level Workshop on “Challenges & Opportunities for Entrepreneurs” on 30.01.2018. Thiru D.Venkateshwaran B.E., M.S (USA) Vice-Chairman, Ulavan Producers Ltd, Erode and Thiru. N. Sivanesan  Ex.President, Small Scale Industries and Federation, Erode  were the resource persons.  Resource Persons have given lot of examples of successful entrepreneurs and innovative entrepreneurs.

Entrepreneurship Cell
The Entrepreneurship cell has organized a College Bazaar on 12th September 2017 at Vivekananda Auditorium. This programme was inaugurated by Thiru N.K.K.Periasamy, Chairman and Correspondent, in the presence of Treasurer Thiru V.R.Murugan, Joint secretaries Tmt Vasanthi sathyan, Tmt Parimala raja, and  Principal  Dr.M.Ramamoorthy.  The purpose of this programme is students should enhance the marketing skills and gain practical knowledge. 

Finance Club    
Our department has inaugurated the Finance Club on 29th December 2017.   Dr.S.Deepansa B.V.Sc & A.H, Senior Manager, Indian Overseas Bank, Kavindapadi branch has participated as a chief guest.  

2020 - 2021

The Department of Business Administration and LBP Kavindapadi have jointly organised World Water Day Celebrations on March 22, 2021 at Kaviindapadi.

The Department of Business Administration   LBP Kavindapadi and District Disabled Organisatoin have jointly organised Voters Awareness Programme on March 18, 2021 at Kaviindapadi. Mr.S.Srinivasan District Disabled Welfare officer was the Chief Guest and inagurated the rally.

2017 - 2018

Our Final year students went to collect the  Social Economic Data for tribal area people at Sathyamangalam tribal area  on April 14-17th 2018 with Osai Environmental foundation, Coimbatore and Tamilnadu Forest Department

Our Department organised world Water Day celebration on March 22, 2018 at our college campus. More than 100 students participated and took pledge of water savings.

The  Department of Business Administration and Tamilnadu Police,Bhavani Division jointly  organised a rally on ”People Safety Awareness”   at Bhavani on 26th February 2018. Mr.M.N. Elango, Inspector was inaugurated the rally. Students gave pamphlets to the people about the safety measures .More than 150 students of department and 10 Police members have participated.

The Business Administration Department and Olirum Erode, jointly Organised a Programme on “Dengue Awareness  Campaign @ Rally in Erode City”  on 19th July 2017.  The programme was inaugurated by Thiru. M. Seeni Ajmalkhan Commissioner, Erode Municipal Corporation & Dr. K.M. Abul Hasen chairperson, Health Care Panel Olirum Erode Foundation Erode. The objective of the Programme is to create awareness among the city people. Students have issued the Pamphlets to the people about the awareness of Dengue Fever. 

The Business Administration Department, Tamilnadu Agricultural University and Farmers Association, Erode jointly organised a Environmental Conservation Rally at Kavindapadi. The rally was inaugurated by Mr.NKKP.Rajaa ,Former Minister of Government of Tamilnadu, in the presence of  Joint secretaries of our college         Tmt.Vasanthi sathyan,  Tmt.Parimala raja, and Principal Dr. M. Ramamoorthy. The purpose of rally is to create awareness among the people about nature and tree protection.
